children of [the] new world
the film Children of Men, which pre-9/11 may have seemed too way-out to be a realistic prediction of the future, today is only too possible.
coupled with Aldous Huxley's Brave New World, a dire prediction of the future of humanity, paints a bleak outlook for contemporary society.
sophistication of tools and technology surround us, but all too often the drive is towards their streamlining their military applications.
they are super-human fighting machines enaging in the ultimate apocalyptic battle. but, to what end?
