Colectivo Anatomic from Barcelona will perform in Canberra at the Centre for New Media Arts (CNMA) on Tuesday 26 September 2006, starting at 8pm.

the panel submission (with Alex Gillespie, Mitchell Whitelaw and Stephen Barrass) has been accepted into the UNAUSTRALIA conference.

future shock
the Australian Partnership for Sustainable Repositories forum, Long-term Repositories: Taking the Shock out of the Future was held last Thursday and Friday. A few guests from overseas and after two days, a really positive feeling for possible ways forward for digital preservation and archiving.

the Australasian Sound Recording Association conference: Listening was held at the National Film and Sound Archive. Presented a paper, What art we listening to? on the precursors to sound art.
zoning
spent a saturday wandering around sydney - breakfast in redfern and then art and coffees. one of my favourite works in the biennale - Rafael Lozano-Hemmer's Homographies 2006 - an installation with shifting fluroescent lights suspended from the roof of the AGNSW foyer and linked into a surveillance system.
