the Friends of National Library are providing funding for a two-week trip to the San Francisco bay area to visit:

• California Digital Library


• BAMPFA, Archiving the Avant-Garde project


• The Internet Archive


• International Symposium of Electronic Arts (ISEA)

the trip will look models for and issues related to the preservation of complex digital materials (with a focus on metadata)
